Remember my excitement over the snow forecast? Well, it turns out that while people just a few miles up north are getting bombarded with a full-fledged blizzard, the storm decided to sidestep my house and drop a bunch of rain on me instead.
That's right... hours upon hours of rain... and sleet. To be fair, when it first began there was enough sleet blanketing the ground that it resembled snow. In a rather reflective, icy, bumpy way.
Ok, it didn't really resemble snow at all. That was just my imagination talking.
So while my mother was driving to work near the north shore of Lake Superior, she had the joy of viewing this through her window,
while I went outside to view this:
Yep. My canterbury bells were sitting in a pool of rainwater. I suppose I no longer have to worry about them drying out, though!
